Emma Kelly
Emma is a third year undergraduate student who joined the Cobb lab in September 2024, and she is majoring in Biochemistry on the Pre-Law track. Outside of working in the lab, Emma is involved in the campus community as President of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, VP of Philanthropy for Alpha Chi Omega, and as a Peer Educator at the Mather Center for Women focusing on violence prevention and education work. In her free time, Emma can be found binging a sitcom in bed or out sitting at a coffee shop with friends.

Ava Richard
Ava is a second year undergraduate student from Columbus, Ohio, who joined the Cobb lab in January 2025. She is majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Chemistry and psychology on the Pre-Med track. Ava is also the Director of Academics and Global Citizenship of Phi Mu, member of the medical fraternity PhiDE, a volunteer at Heartland Hospice, and a care-provider at L'Arche Cleveland. In her free time, she loves watching rom-coms with friends, reading, and hiking. She also self-identifies as a HUGE Buckeyes fan!

Lucy Zhang
Lucy is a first year undergraduate who joined the Cobb lab in October 2025, and is majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in English on the Pre-Med track. Lucy is the Freshman Representative of Project Sunshine, the Fundraising Coordinator for Anchorpoint, and is a hospice volunteer for the Northeast Ohio Visiting Nurse Association. In her free time, she loves long hikes, classical music, reading, and French TV shows.
